Quinton Flynn, a born entertainer, began his career on TV’s Romper Room at the tender age of five. This young Cleveland boy was doing impressions by the age of eight, and continued to follow his passion for acting and performing. A rock musician and historian, Flynn’s earliest work includes hosting The Alternate Beat, a cutting edge music video program including interviews and music news. After moving to Los Angeles, this comedy chameleon tested for Saturday Night Live in New York City and has since worked with some of the best in the business.
Quinton is beloved and recognized globally from Kingdom Hearts as the fiery and sarcastic Axel and Lea, along with his defining role from Metal Gear as Raiden, a role which earned him a Best Male Lead Actor Award. Gamers love Flynn as the murderous artist Jhin, The Virtuoso in League of Legends, the assassin Kolyat Krios in Mass Effect, Sun King Kael’thas Sunstrider in World of Warcraft, Irish hitman Sir Henry Cooldown in No More Heroes, the irrascible Dr. Krankcase in Skylanders: Trap Team, and the beguiling Silver The Hedgehog in Sonic Forces!
Anime and animation fans alike love Flynn as Iruka-Sensei in Naruto, Kon in Bleach, Reno in Final Fantasy, Dr. Riddles in Zatch Bell, Marcus Damon in Digimon Data Squad, and Lightning in Teen Titans. Quinton’s Classic Legacy Characters include Mickey Mouse, Spider-Man, Venom, Human Torch, Jonny Quest, and Timon in Around The World With Timon and Pumbaa! The recent resurgence in My Life As A Teenage Robot features Flynn as the lovably nerdy Sheldon Lee, the heroic Silver Shell, the despicable Don Prima, and more than fifty other characters!
As a master impressionist, Flynn has been famously featured in TV and film portraying Paul McCartney, Christopher Walken, Gene Wilder, Christopher Lloyd, Captain Jack Sparrow, and many other notable characters and entertainers. He successfully and hilariously captured Deadpool in Cartoon Hookups and Elmer Fudd in Robot Chicken. Flynn also lent his vocal gymnastics to Freakazoid, Johnny Bravo, Angry Beavers, Avatar The Last Airbender, Batman Arkham City Origins, Crash Bandicoot, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Monkey Island to name a few.
When he’s not making you laugh at his own expense (or yours), Flynn can be found fronting rock bands at the Viper Room on the Sunset Strip, writing songs, reading books about The Beatles, or watching old Johnny Carson episodes while eating ice cream after midnight.
So reminisce about his beloved legacy roles, have a laugh at his comedic panels full of impressions and improvisation, or simply sit back and get In Like Flynn!
